Nakul Patel leads the Facebook at Work Growth Team for India and South Asia as well as several other markets across Asia Pacific. Before his current role he led the business developments and partnerships teams for several other Facebook Platform products, based at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park. Nakul joined Facebook via the acquisition of mBaaS startup Parse.com in 2013. Before Parse, Nakul spent 5 years at Google in a number of sales and sales management roles in Beijing, Tokyo, Austin and Ann Arbor.

His specific telecom sector skills and experience include strategic marketing, sales and distribution, business intelligence, mobile financial services, customer centricity, product development, government and regulatory management, business planning, M&A, public relations and crisis management.

Aamir holds a top notch MBA from IMD in Switzerland and AMP (Advanced Management Program) from Harvard Business School, and has an international mind-set having lived and worked in diverse cultural settings which include Thailand, Pakistan, UK, UAE, Switzerland and the USA.

Adnan Shahid is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), Pakistan's largest ICT and Broadband company. Over his 20 years of professional career, Adnan has held technology, marketing, and strategy leadership positions in different industry verticals. He also founded two companies. In his current role as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, he is responsible for Voice, broadband and multimedia business of PTCL including new product design, customer care and experience management and marketing communications.

Adnan is an Electrical Engineer from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan and holds an MBA degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in Innovation and Global Leadership. He also holds the distinction of being a Legatum Fellow - MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship is the leading center for supporting entrepreneurial ventures in developing economies.

Prior to Google, Raza worked with large enterprises in the region as a management consultant, focusing on process automation, program and change management. A unapologetic serial entrepreneur, Raza has been previously involved in domestic startups in healthcare, retail and technology space.

Omer Moeen

Omer Moeen

Director Strategy, Payments & Product Development, EasyPaisa

Omar has been part of the core Mobile Financial Services team at Telenor since before launch in 2009. He designed and deployed the Easypaisa OTC and e- Wallet businesses, the first Mobile Money service in Pakistan, and was involved in developing and managing the distribution channels, as well as having the main responsibility of interacting with the Telco and Banking Regulator on the Regulations for Branchless Banking.

As the head of Strategy and Projects for Easypaisa, Omar is responsible for developing and driving the strategy plans for the Easypaisa business and heading key strategic projects. He is also responsible for developing the Mobile Money financial eco-system in Pakistan through strategic partnerships. Prior to his 5 years of experience in Mobile Financial Services, Omar headed the GSM Value Added Services Products unit at Telenor. He has also worked with Teradata and has experience in Advanced Analytics with Data Warehouses for Cellular Telcoms and Banks in the MEA region.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Omar also has 3 years of experience in working as a Software Engineer with different organizations in the States including IBM. He also holds a MBA degree from the LUMS, Pakistan.

Qasif previously served as the head of Digital Banking for MCB, one of the largest and most profitable banks in Pakistan. Before that he was the head of Marketing and Alternative channels for ABN AMRO bank Singapore where in addition to being the custodian of the brand, he was also responsible for managing and building electronic channels including the Call Center, Internet Banking, Mobile Commerce and other non-branch customer touch-points. Before his four-year stint in Singapore, Qasif served in different product, channel and marketing related roles in ABN AMRO Pakistan for five years.

Before joining MCB, Qasif worked at Standard Chartered Pakistan for a period of four years. He initially headed Alternative Channels and the Marketing function and later on served as the General Manager Front-line Experience.

He held several roles in Middle East and Africa region as well as a global Business HR Head in one of worlds extremely innovative and technologically progressive organizations i.e. Nokia and Ericsson . His passion is to transform HR to align it with the future business models. He lead an internal study “HR in 2025” to understand changing external and internal business environment and its impact on HR function. He is spearheading transformation and digitalization of HR at Mobilink as part of their overall Digitalization journey.

He loves to volunteer for social projects in free time and manages his Facebook page that focuses on promoting optimism about Pakistan, a cause he initiated during his stay abroad. His interests include cycling, hiking and team sports.
